UNCERTAINTY

Time shreds our memories away,
The past shies away in shame,
Was it me? Was it him?
Today, together again,
Not love, nor hatred,
But uncertainty binds us,
We walk ahead hand in hand,
No promises and nothing ordained,
No path chosen, no future designed,
We smile at each other in bliss,
The bliss borne out of
A shapeless, formless, relationship,
A relationship so uncertain!

ONCE MORE

Bloom, I want to, just once more
Before I wither away,
Soar high, just once more, before I fly away,
Dreams, I want you to flutter
In my heart just once more,
Before you spurn me forever,
Before cobwebs cover my thoughts,
And before time wrinkles me
Meet those eyes, I want to, just once more,
Love him, yes, just once more,
Before I decay into oblivion

YOUR WAIT

Those eyes waiting to devour,
Those lips parted, inviting,

Those arms waiting to caress
That voice waiting to whisper

That body waiting to conquer
That mind waiting to surrender,

Gazing at your picture, transcendental
Your wait ends as it descends on me

I conquer, I surrender,
I devour, I caress,

Did you hear me whisper?

UTOPIA

Filling its empty spaces,
Smoothening its wrinkled edges,
My mind finds solace
In thoughts lush and green,
In dreams made of colors galore,
In tales stolen from fairy land,
A reprieve, a retreat
Far way from this vapid world,
But every day ripped asunder,
By truth that encroaches,
Dreams shatter to become reality,
Thoughts colorless again,
Wait at the gates of Utopia,
To be swept off its feet again,
To bloom again,
To be colored again….

The night that failed me

Pregnant with memories,
Of a night that failed me,
Turbid are my thoughts
Strewn all over my mind,
That night we met
Who failed whom?
Did Love fail us?
Did veracity kill dreams?
Our love had been too proper,
Too perfect to be called love,
Decency prevailed,
Innocence stayed,
So love ended
Alas, we parted that night
The night that failed me

My Dream

My dream is a crimson hue,
Where I weave you in black and white
From the golden embers,
Then I set you ablaze into flames of red
With a flicker of passion that defies all reason,
Burning in unison, each trying to smother the other,
But the flames leap higher, brighter
Alas, here my dream ends,
Every night the same fiery end,
I try to pursue beyond in vain,
I try to weave you back in vain,
Forgive me love,
But it takes time for passion to die,
For my dreams to be black and white again….
